Hiiilfe ! Tyre funzt nicht mehr !!!!!

Hallo an alle Tyre-Nutzer....

seit 2-3 Jahren nutze ich Tyre als tolles, schnelles und unkompliziertes Routenplanungsprogramm. Seit der letzten Version (...so vor 2 Monaten - die Version mit der Werbeeinblendung) ist Tyre (....unabhängig vom Rechner, dem Betriebssystem ...xp bzw. Vista und der LAN-Performance) so grotten-langsam geworden, dass ich es nicht mehr nutzen kann. Eine echte Katastrofe (n.d.R.) für mich.

P.S. : Hinweis wg. Google Maps : Habe Explorer, Opera u. Firefox. Gleiches Ergebnis.

Wer hat ähnliche Erfahrungen und kann einen Tipp geben, wie TYRE wider läuft ????

Bitte keine Tipps für andere Routenplaner ... I want Tyre.... !!!

Bei mir funzt er einwandfrei, hatte eben noch upgedatet. Vorher war er tatsächlich langsamer. Seltsam nur das keine gesamt Routenspur mehr angezeigt wird. Vielleicht war das die Tempobremse.

der Author hat auf seiner Website die FAQ´s, da steht zum Schluß:

First restore the advanced setting of your Internet Explorer:
- Open your Internet Explorer.
- Select 'Tools' -> 'Internet Options' -> 'Advanced' tab -> 'Restore Advanced Settings'.
- If the security setting for Internet is not Normal-High (default) change it to Normal-High.
- Make sure your MS Internet Explorer is up-to-date.
Then install a clean version of Tyre:
- Remove Tyre from your computer.
- Remove the following key (and all of its sub keys) from the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Tyre
If there are still Tyre files on your disk, remove them too:
- Remove the folder C:\Program Files\Tyre and all of its contents.
- Remove the Tyre Application Data folder and all of its contents.
You can find the Application Data folder here:
For Windows XP: 'C:\Documents and Settings\<User Name>\Application Data\Tyre'.
For Windows Vista and Windows 7: 'C:\Users\<User Name>\AppData\Roaming\Tyre'.
Done this? Then restart your computer, download and install Tyre again.

Hallo !!!!!

Vielen Dank ! Problem wurde durch "Zufall" gelöst.

Bekam just einen Tag nach meinem Thread meinen grossen Laptop aus der Rep. zurück (...Grafikkarte). Festplatte eingebaut - gestartet - Tyre lahm.

Kurz darauf "Anfrage" install. neue Version Explorer. Schnell gemacht, obwohl ich normalerweise nicht mit dem Explorer arbeite.

Tyre läuft wieder "wie's Lottchen".

Ergo....Tyre benötigt wohl unbedingt eine neuere Explorer-Version.

Auf meinem kleinen Netbook ist dies wohl daher nicht möglich, weil dort eine etwas fragwürdige xp-Version ohne updates läuft.........
